Peggy Sue O誰eal, 69, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Tecumseh.
She was born July 12, 1949 to Wendell and Ora Mae (Tibbs) O誰eal in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Peggy was raised in Tecumseh and attended Tecumseh Public Schools. She graduated with the class of 1967 from Tecumseh High School. Peggy earned her Bachelor痴 degree in Science of Education from East Central University in Ada, OK. After college she lived and taught school in Ada area until moving to Oklahoma City where she lived for over 40 years until recently moving to Tecumseh.
Peggy worked as a manager for 7-11 stores in Oklahoma City, at the Baptist Foundation and was a caregiver for many years.
She was a member of the Tecumseh High School Alumni Association. Peggy enjoyed the OKC Thunder Basketball, swimming and being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Ora Mae O誰eal; brother, Randall O誰eal; and niece, Anita O誰eal.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Sherry Chaffin of Macomb, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Jim White of Tecumseh, OK; aunt, Helen Tibbs of Shawnee, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2018 with family gathering from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to greet friends and family at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony Black, Romulus Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
