They were married on February 2, 1957 in a little chapel in Schuler, Oklahoma by Pastor Sid Tiffin who was Pastor of the First Church of God in Tecumseh at the time. Dad said they traveled to Tulsa with Pastor Sid Tiffin and his wife Mildred to get married because you could get a marriage license and get married in the same day, they wanted to get married and didn't want to wait the three days, so that's what they did. She became a C.N.A. and C.M.A. also working for Shawnee Medical Center and back to Sunset Estates until she retired after over thirty years of nursing.

Patsy was baptized at the First Church of God in Tecumseh at a young age and has been a member since.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, nanny, daughter, sister, aunt and caregiver. Pasty enjoyed cooking big dinners every Sunday for her family and especially loved having her family for the holidays, there was always more than enough food for anyone who happened to drop in. Her family's favorites were her Mississippi Mud Cake, lemon, chocolate, and coconut cream pies and last but not least her banana pudding. Patsy was a loving and caring woman who always put others need before herself. She was loved by many and will be truly and deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ruth Kieffer; 3 brothers, James Kieffer, Floyd Kieffer and Gary Kieffer; and 2 sisters, Irene Latham and Colleen Stover.
