Lena Barnett McMahan, 79, of Tecumseh, passed from this life on Nov. 15, 2017, at the age of 79.
Lena was born Dec. 11, 1937, to Lloyd and Irene Wittmann in Tecumseh.
On June 15, 1955, Lena was married to Cecil Barnett. Together they were loving parents to three sons and one daughter, along with many other kids who referred to them as mom and dad. They were married for 35 years until Cecil's passing in 1990.
Lena later married Carroll McMahan.
Lena was a fan of family, friends, fishing, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and OSU.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Barnett, an infant daughter Betty Barnett, parents Lloyd and Irene Wittmann, brother Joe Wittmann, sister Dorothy Kennedye and step-grandson Jon Arrasmith.
Survivors include her husband Carroll of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law Cecil L. and Laree Barnett, Tecumseh, Gary and Charlotte Barnett, Shawnee, Jimmy and Kristi Barnett, Shawnee; a daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Ron Vanderburg, Shawnee; a brother, Dale Wittmann, Shawnee; sisters-in-law Lorene and Marvin Witt, Oklahoma City and Dona and Forrest Maynard, Plano, Texas; a brother-in-law David Kennedye, Mustang; grandsons Slaten Barnett and Clayton Vanderburg; granddaughters Melissa Rivera, Audrey Masoner, Jordan Herron, Jade Barnett, Bridget Sudderth, Morgan Arnold and Autumn Barnett; nine great-grandchildren; three step-children, Jeff and Lori McMahan, Jason McMahan, Joni and Rocky Kindey; and three step-grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, at the home of C.L. and Laree Barnett.
