Debbie Lynn Laughlin was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jack Rye and Iva "Doris" Allenbaugh. Debbie departed this life on Friday, December 9, 2022 at her home in Shawnee.
Debbie enjoyed watching her grandson's sporting events and livestock shows where she was affectionately known as "Nana" by all the kids and even their parents. Debbie would show up to the field or show barn with her ice chest and big bag of snacks where she would be flocked by the kids so they could get a hug and a snack.
Debbie was involved with Awanas and the youth ministry at Sharon Baptist Church. All of her "extended grandkids" either at the ballfield or pig barn had a big impact on her life and she loved them as her own.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Rye and Iva "Doris" Allenbaugh; grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mike Laughlin of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Micah and Hunter Montgomery of Tecumseh; son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Megan Laughlin of Tecumseh; grandson's Lane and Cooper Laughlin of Tecumseh; sister, Betty Bivings of Choctaw; and her very special extended families at the ballfields and pig barns. "Nana" was loved and will be missed by many.
Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at Sharon Baptist Church with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
