Arthur Marion Gayman Jr. (Art) 89 left this earth for a better place on June 16, 2012.He was born near Chandler, Oklahoma on July 31, 1922, to Arthur Marion Gayman Sr. and his wife Sadie.His family moved at the age of 7 to Higgins, Texas, where he attended school.He served in the Army in Europe during World War II. For a short time he drove a truck, and then took over his father??s Dairy Farm. He was married to Mary Kimball on May 25, 1948 in Higgins, Tx.
They had a son Marion and a daughter Nancy. In 1955 he moved his family to Mustang, Oklahoma. He worked as a welder for BS&B for many years and as a carpenter helping to build several homes in Oklahoma City.He was a faithful servant of God. He loved camping, fishing, and boating. In 1985 he and his wife, Mary, moved to Tecumseh where he lived the remainder of his life
He was a beloved Father of 2, grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 9. His family was important to him and teaching them about the Lord was the desire of his heart.He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home, a son and daughter-in-law, Marion and Jonnie of Claremore; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mark McClanahan of Chickasha; 4 grandsons and 9 great-grandchildren.
