Shane Countess, 41, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Shane was born on January 30, 1977 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Janice (Flick) and Vernon Dale Countess.
He was a lifelong Tecumseh resident and graduate of Tecumseh High School class of 1995 as well as a Sr. Mechanic at OG&E, Horseshoe Lake for 18 years.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his grandpa and Uncle Larry. He enjoyed two step dancing, and rodeos. Shane liked to show off and have a good time. He loved his two sons, Tyler and Blake dearly. Shane always helped people out especially if they were stuck on the side of the road in the snow or rain.
He was preceded in death by father, Vernon Countess; grandmother, Helen Flick; grandfather, William Flick; nephew, Preston Standley; cousin, Rondy Flick.
Shane is survived by mother, Janice Flick of Tecumseh; 2 sons, Tyler Countess and Blake Countess of Tecumseh; love of his life, Jenny Countess of Tecumseh; 7 sisters, Tracy Rath of Tecumseh, Kim Alves, Susan Countess, Terri Harrison, and Christina Matsumoto of California, Crystal O’Brien and Nicole O’Brien of Ardmore; 2 special nieces, Amanda Webb & Harley Rath of Tecumseh; nephew, Braxton Rath of Tecumseh; numerous great nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and a special uncle, Larry Flick of Shawnee.
Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Tecumseh Assembly of God with Reverend Chad Brodrick and Pastor Don Jonker officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 7, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2018 with the family gathering to meet with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Tecumseh First Assembly of God with Reverend Chad Brodrick and Pastor Don Jonker officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
