Clinton Eric Coriz, age 39, started his journey to the Creator on May 20, 2020. He was born in Albuquerque, NM to Lorenzo Coriz and Katrina Brokeshoulder. He was an enrolled member of the Absentee Shawnee with affiliation to the Choctaw and Kewa tribes. Clinton was a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend but above all he was a devoted father.
Clinton is survived by his son, Marcus Coriz, both parents Lorenzo Coriz and Katrina Brokeshoulder, two brothers Aaron Brokeshoulder and Benjamin Coriz, sister Matoka Coriz, three nephews, Devin Brokeshoulder, Tyrin Brokeshoulder and Dante Brokeshoulder, and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home, 210 West Walnut, Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home. Active pallbearers are Eli Brokeshoulder, Eddie Brokeshoulder, Kurt Vasquez, Lawrence Sedillo, Jerome Castillo and Glen Tortalita.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC and State of Oklahoma Regulations and Guidelines, groups of 50 or fewer will be limited to attended funerals, which includes church services as well as chapel services and graveside services with social distancing.
