Michael R. Coddington, 65, of Shawnee, Oklahoma past from this life Monday, April 2, 2018 in Shawnee.
Michael was born April 25, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clarence and Lula Mae (Panther) Coddington.
He was raised in Albert/ Oney area of Oklahoma and moved to Paramount California as a teenager. He lived in Los Angeles, California area for many years until moving to Shawnee, Oklahoma in the early 1990’s where he has lived since.
Michael served our Country in the US Army. He worked for Kelly pipe in California. He was a long haul truck driver for many years before retiring in 2006.
Michael enjoyed fishing and hunting and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Michael is survived by 2 daughters and 1 son-in law, Michele Coddington of Brea, California; and Kellie & Daniel Kelly of Las Vegas, Nevada; son and daughter-in-law, Michael W. & Jessica Coddington of Las Vegas, Nevada; 11 grandchildren; sister & brother-in law, Ann & Everett Miller of Shawnee, brother, Will Coddington of Shawnee; and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2018 and continue until service time. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home chapel with son, Michael W. Coddington officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
