MILFORD "WAYNE" CHISHOLM

September 12, 1938 - May 04, 2018

Milford “Wayne” Chisholm, 79, lifelong resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed from this life Friday, May 4, 2018 in Oklahoma City.

He was born September 12, 1938 to William Sloat and Jeannetta Chisholm in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Wayne was raised in Shawnee and graduated with the class of 1958 from Shawnee High School.

He earned his Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Seminole State College.

Wayne proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1958 and was honorably discharged. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy he proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1958 to 1960 until his honorable discharge.

He married Patsy Darline Craft on March 8, 1960 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Wayne was a machinist for 30 years at Tinker Air Force until his retirement.

He enjoyed art, music, garage sales, going to the movies, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Dorothy Stidham and Mary Patadal.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Patsy Chisholm of the home; 1 daughter and 1 son-in-law, Rhonda and Kenneth Ham of Harrah, OK; 1 son and 1 daughter-in-law, Mark and Mary Chisholm of Prague, OK; 6 grandchildren, Jerred Ham, Stacey Wakley, Candace Chisholm, Carly Dyer, Cole Chisholm and Keegan Chisholm; 4 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Jade, Kylie and Aria; 2 sisters, Anita Chisholm and Georgia Ann Pineda; 1 brother, Burt Patadal; special aunt, Norene Durant; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 and continue through service time. Family gathering to greet friends and family will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mark Guinn, Living Love Christian Center, Shawnee, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
