Floia Leona Jackson Williams

Floia "Flo" Leona Williams was born on April 26, 1938, in Catoosa, Oklahoma to Opal C. Jackson and Samuel "Gene" Jackson. She passed away at Harrah Nursing Center on June 6, 2024.

Flo graduated from Catoosa in 1956. Shortly after graduation, she married Max Butler. They raised four children: Gaylene, Alecia, Leroy, and Sam. They traveled and lived in various locations and returned to Meeker Oklahoma in 1979, where Max passed in 1992. Flo worked at various retail locations and retired in 1998. Flo attended Liberty Baptist Church where she met Ely Williams, and married him on September 29, 1999, where she gained a fifth child, Shana Williams. Flo loved her family, sewing, and cooking. She and Ely enjoyed traveling, playing games, and spending time with their grandchildren.

Flo was affectionately known as "MiMi" to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Flo is survived by daughter, Alecia and husband, Richie Davis of Ardmore; grandchildren: Martin Miller and Jeannie of Shawnee; Jayme and Andrew King of Wylie TX; Stacie Hollar of Ardmore; son, Leroy Butler of Shawnee; grandchildren: Tara and Justin Welcher of Shawnee; Levi Butler and Liz of Lawton; son, Sam Butler and wife, Karen of Wellston; step-son, Randall Williams and wife, Deanna of Mergargel, TX; step-daughter, Shana and husband, Richardo Aaron; granddaughters: Alexis and Corrin of Midwest City; and many more great-grandchildren, along with brother, Jerry Jackson.

Flo is preceded in death by her first husband, Max Butler; second husband, Ely Williams; daughter, Gaylene Summers; mother and father, Opal and Samuel Jackson; sisters, Gladis and Jacque Jackson; brother, Harold Jackson; and her Aunt Cory and Uncle Don Petree.

A visitation for Floia will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Liberty Baptist Church, 711 E Federal St, Shawnee, OK 74804. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 16006 S Rock Creek Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801.
