Donna Hope (Sturgill) Williams was born on the cold day of February 2, 1954 to Bernis and Mary Lou (Howell) Sturgill in Boise, Idaho. She passed from this life on May 14, 2023 to be with her heavenly Father.
Donna grew up around Bethel and attended Bethel public schools. She had a variety of jobs working for Rainbow Inn, Amigo's, Bandana Red's and Buford White's Lumber Store. Buford's was her favorite and she retired from there. Among her favorite pastimes were reading, fishing, and playing cards with friends and family. She enjoyed going to Tunica, Mississippi and gambling with friends, unless she got to go to Colorado. She always thought Colorado was such a beautiful place to visit. Her favorite pastime of course was spending time with her kids and grandkids!
Donna was proceeded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Scott and wife Amanda Williams of Earlsboro, OK and Vernon and wife Holly Schimmel of Bethel, OK; brothers: Duane and wife Sharon Sturgill of Eufaula, OK, Austin and wife Karen Sturgill of Harrah, OK, and Jimmy and wife Cindy Sturgill of Bethel, OK; 8 grandchildren: Brandon and wife Desirae of Bethel, OK; Myriah Warrock of Tecumseh, OK; Ashley Stinnett and husband Troy of Konawa, OK, Gregory Ford of Earlsboro, OK, Emma Ford of Earlsboro, OK, Raven Hawkins of Noble, OK, Micah Villanuera and husband Hector of Noble, OK, and McKenna Schimmel of Bethel, OK; 6 great-grandchildren; 8 nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.
