Travis Gene Mohawk, age 50, of Noble, OK, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Moore, OK. He was born July 23, 1968 in Norman, OK to Jody Bernard and Carol Jean Mohawk.
Travis grew up in the Little Axe area and attended school at Norman Public Schools.
He was a simple person who liked to work hard. He enjoyed working on cars and tractors and painting houses. He loved animals and playing video games. His favorite thing to do was be with his nieces, nephews, and the rest of his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosa Littlecharley; and aunt, Nancy Carlson.
Travis is survived by his mother, Carol Mohawk; father, Jody Bernard; brother, Curtis Mohawk; sister, Joni Mohawk; nephews, Weshey Mohawk, William Mohawk, Galen Mohawk, and Brayden Fink; nieces, Charlie Mohawk, Nece Mohawk, Billye Mohawk, and Makenzie Mohawk; aunt, Shirley Simpson; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, OK with Joni Mohawk officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
