Wanda Wirth Jolly, 84, of Plano, Texas, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at her residence. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th Street in Plano, Texas, 75074.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday also at the funeral home in Plano.
An additional visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, at Walker Funeral Service, located at 201 East 45th Street in Shawnee.
A committal service will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Shawnee.
Wanda was born July 27, 1929, in St. Louis, Okla., daughter of O.R. and Alice (Tate) Wirth.
She married her husband of 61 years, James E. Jolly, on Dec. 24, 1952, in Benton, Ark. He survives in Plano, Texas.
Also surviving are sons, Steven Jolly and wife Terri of Naples, Fla., and Tony Jolly and wife Linda of Plano, Texas; daughters, Cindy Jolly Smoak and husband David of Tyler, Texas, and Kimberly Jolly Primos and husband Jim of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Jamie Lopez and husband Scott of Norman, Aubrey Jolly Graham and husband Blair of Cary, N.C., Lauren Jolly of Naples, Fla., Craig Smoak of Waco, Texas, Jennifer Smoak of Dallas, Texas, Patrick Jolly and wife Mary Anne of Sarasota, Fla., Jason Primos and Melissa of Garland, Texas, and Shannon Young of Plano, Texas; great-grandchildren, Shawn, Addison, Chase, Nicholas, Carter, and Micah; brother, Robert Wirth and wife Betty of Shawnee; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Wanda's hobbies included bowling, Bridge Club and rollerskating, and watching OU sports. She was also the Oklahoma State Bowling Champion. She was of the Methodist Faith.
Wanda loved her family more than anything else. She was known lovingly to family and friends as Gigi and Grandish. She leaves behind her two four-legged babies, Molly and Bogey.
