The funeral for Clarence F. Allred Jr., 73, will be at 10:30 AM Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Duncan. The Rev. Rick Whitaker will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 PM Thursday in Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee. Arrangements are by Carter - Smart Funeral Home, Duncan. He was born July 15, 1921, in Mount Burg, Arkansas, to Clarence and Matilda Allred and died Tuesday, February 28, 1995, at the Baptist Medical Ctr., Oklahoma City. He served with the U. S. Navy from 1942 to 1946, and had been a resident of Duncan for 12 years, moving there from Kingfisher. On January 27, 1977, he married Barbara Ann Trammell in Enid. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, and had retired from Beard Oil Company as production supervisor in 1993. Surviving are his wife; one son, Jack Farrell Trammell of Mustang; four daughters, Jane Hicks of Norman, Barbara Sue Kester of Thomas, Susan Ann Morrow of Shawnee and LuAnn Allred of Hennessey; one brother, J. T. of Duncan; one sister, Edythe Griffin of Duncan; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4323 NW. 63rd, Suite 110, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
