Alice May Turner died August 20, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years 10 months 24 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, August 24, 2020 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Prospect Cemetery in Tribbey, Oklahoma, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Alice was born September 27, 1948 in Orr, Oklahoma to Elmer and Ina (Hodgeson) Brandon. She was raised and attended school in Elmore City, graduating around 1967. On June 20, 1973, she married Jimmy Turner. Alice worked as a store manager for 7-Eleven for many years, as well as other jobs, retiring in 2010. Alice was a hard worker who enjoyed flower gardening in her spare time. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ina Brandon; her grandson, Josh Jones; and numerous aunts and uncles. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Turner Macomb; her daughters, Martina Blythe and husband, Michael of Macomb, Amy Hughes and husband, Josh of Lexington; her sons, Jimmy Dale Turner and wife, Angie of Huntsville, TX, Michael Phillips of Sand Springs, OK, Dustin Turner and wife, Nancy of Ocean View, HI; her 15 grandchildren, Chazey and TJ, Krystel, Daylan, Grant, Mikelle, Emily, Amanda, Dustin & Hunter, Shaney, Alyssa, Brinlee, Conor, Colton, Cilee, Zeke; her 4 great grandchildren, Sidon, Capri, Nevaeh, Briella; her sisters, Jane Frazier and husband, Joe of Elmore City, Sherry Grimes and husband, David of Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.
