Emmanuel “E.J.” Elijah Joseph Zenon was born on March 23, 2000, in Midwest City, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 16.
E.J., the son of Joseph and Sheryl Zenon, was a resident of Shawnee. He was a junior at Prague High School. E.J. enjoyed football, wrestling, track, soccer, hunting, fishing and being outside. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing with his nieces and nephews, reading, arguing with his sisters and playing with Chiwee, Carrie’s dog.
E.J.’s paternal grandparents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Sheryl Zenon, of Shawnee; father, Joseph Zenon, of Louisiana; sisters, Ambra and Jerry Dinwiddie, of Shawnee, and Kimmi Zenon, of Edmond; nieces and nephews, Tayler, Mariah, Elijah and Braeden Dinwiddie, of Shawnee; grandparents, John and Rena Hinesley, of Okemah; aunt, Carrie Hinesley, of Shawnee; cousin, Samara Smith, of Colorado and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Prague First Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
