Tecumseh resident Clyde Maurice Young, 52, died Saturday, December 4, in Oklahoma City.He was born April 28, 1952, in Shawnee to Carl and Ernestine Ervin Young.Mr. Young was reared in Brooksville and lived in Shawnee after graduating from Macomb High School.He was a car salesman and was interested in small engine repair.He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Winfield Young and grandparents, Jack and Nancy Young and Corie and Lila Ervin.Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Jason Young of Oklahoma City; Stewart and Tia Young of Oklahoma City; Clyde Andrew Young of Shawnee; and DeWayne Doakes of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Jessica Young of Tecumseh; fiancée, Treva Brown of Shawnee; her daughters, Summer, Karen and Jessica Brown, all of Tecumseh; mother, Ernestine Young of Brooksville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Chandler of Wilson, North Carolina; Virgil and Robert Winrow of Earlsboro; and Kathryn and Lee Oliver; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Betty Young of Shawnee; Clifford Young of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Sylvester and Triana Young of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Michael and Victoria Young of Shawnee; granddaughter, Gemini Young of Oklahoma City; and many other relatives and friends.Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Baptist Church, Brooksville, with the Rev. Lee Oliver officiating.Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery.Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh is directing arrangements.Published December 8, 2004.
