LILLIE HOAG WHITEHORN
1902 - 1994
ANADARKO - Funeral for Lillie Hoag Whitehorn, 92, Anadarko, will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anadarko, with the Rev. Mike Wheelahan, Anadarko, and the Rev. Vincent Traynor, Walters, officiating.Rosary service will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church.Mrs. Whitehorn died Thursday in Anadarko.She was born August 12, 1902, in the Anadarko area and had lived in Binger, Pawhuska and Anadarko.She attended St. Patrick's Catholic Mission School in Anadarko as a young girl. She later became an oblate for St. Gregory's Abby in Shawnee.She married Charles Whitehorn, an assistant chief of the Osage Tribe. He later died.Survivors include five nieces, two nephews and many grand nieces and grand nephews. Those living in the Anadarko area are: Leslie Battiest, Marilyn Tartsah, Vivian Quoetone, Davey Hoag, Barry Hoag, Ronald Quoetone, Jerry Quoetone, Stephen Quoetone, Johnathan Hoag and Vernon Hoag.Burial will be at St. Gregory's Abbey, Shawnee, under the direction of Smith Funeral Chapel, Anadarko.
