MARY BELL WALKER
1924 - 1998


Mary Bell Walker, 74, Shawnee, died Monday at a local hospital.
She was born September 18, 1924, in Shawnee.
She lived in Macomb for about fifteen years before moving to Byars, living there for nineteen years before moving to Shawnee. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three children and their spouses, Judy and Johnny Matthews, Shawnee; Fred Sanders, Shawnee; and W. O. Randy and Connie Sanders, Livingston, Virginia; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Georgie Bernard, Shawnee; and Betty Cox, Tecumseh; and brother Jacky Shawn of Purcell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert "Dick" Walker; great-grandson David Lee Bynum; and a brother.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Neal Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Craig officiating.
