1928 - 2003
Walter Gerald "Gary" Wagner was born on July 12, 1928, in Marietta, Ohio, and departed this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 75.Gary, the son of Herman Walter and Kathryn Marie Rice Wagner, was a resident of Prague, Oklahoma.He married Leeanna Gibson on March 14, 1948.Survivors include his wife, Leeanna of the home; sons, Gerald Keith Wagner of Yuma, Arizona and Greg Wagner of Prague, Oklahoma; daughter, Cathy Lee Grosvenor of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; brothers, Earl Welland Wagner of Lowell, Ohio, James Warren Wagner of Cincinnati, Ohio and Paul Francis Wagner of Marietta, Ohio; and sisters, Jewel Burdette of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Shirley Winifred Johnson of Gustis, Florida and Joan Elizabeth Young of Sun City Center, Florida.A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Prague, Oklahoma, with Bro. Timothy Ruck officiating.Interment will follow at the Keokuk Cemetery in Prague, Oklahoma.Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
