Ruby Janell Veitenheimer died Sunday at her home. She was 63.Mrs. Veitenheimer was born June 20, 1935, in Henryetta to Grace McFarland and George Ray.She married Pete P. Veitenheimer in May 1960 in Oklahoma City.Mrs. Veitenheimer was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. She was also a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.Survivors include her husband, Pete Veitenheimer Jr., of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Lisa Veitenheimer III, William and Tanya Veitenheimer; sons, John Veitenheimer and Gary Veitenheimer; daughters and sons-in-law, Ladena and Jim Jefferies, Tammy and Yancey Swantek, Dana and Elwood Smith; daughters, Donna Baker and Sherry Chriswell; brother and sister-in-law, Matt and Betty Veitenheimer; sister-in-law, Ruth Veitenheimer; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuary, with the Rev. Charles Massoth, O.S.B., officiating.
