ROBERT JESSE TEEL III
1952 - 2008
Bob was born June 13, 1952, in Oklahoma City. He joined his son, Bobby Glen Teel, and his heavenly father on May 6, 2008.He attended Choctaw schools and graduated in 1970. He served in the U. S. Navy from July 28, 1971, until December 27, 1973.He married his wife of 30 years, Diana Lempges, on January 6, 1978. Bob and Diana had two sons, Bobby Glen and Travis.Bob recently retired from truck driving. He was a devoted father and husband. He loved hunting and fishing with Travis and nephew, Denver Williamson. He was so proud of Travis who will begin Physicians Assistant School in June at The University of Oklahoma. He absolutely adored his grand-nephews, Jesse "Shorty" and Eli, who he enjoyed caring for and teaching. Family was an important part of Bob's life.He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jesse Teel Jr., and son, Bobby Glen Teel.He is survived by his wife, Diana, of the home; son, Travis; parents, Ione and Kelley Pollock of Macomb; brother, George Teel of Tecumseh; sisters, Glendia Warren and husband Abe of Harrah; Trena Jones and husband Larry of Tecumseh; Tina Williamson and husband Denny of Pauls Valley; step-sisters, Pam Pollock of Plano, Texas; Terry Bolden and husband John of Oklahoma City; and Debra Beeson and husband Jim of McLoud; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.Bob loved life and will be missed by all that knew him.The family will welcome family and friends for visitation 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday.Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Service Chapel in Shawnee with the Reverend Ray Sikes officiating.Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee.
