DEBBIE LOU TATE
1924 - 2012


Debbie Lou Forshee Tate, 50, of Shawnee, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, in Edmond with her family by her side.
Debbie was born May 20, 1962, to Chester Thomas and Martena Lou Wallgren Forshee Ward in Ada.
She attended Holly Creek Elementary in Broken Bow and Macomb Public Schools.
Debbie married Nathan Tate on July 8, 1978, in Galveston, Texas, and he preceded her in death May 17, 2003.
She enjoyed dancing, playing pool, listening to country music, reading and spending time with her family. Her granddaughter Shelby was the light of her life. Her fondest childhood memories were at the farm with Nannie and Grandpa.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nathan Tate; daughter, Lisa Rachelle Tate; sister, Tina Marie Sandefer; grandparents, Thomas and Pearl Forshee and Floyd and Jessie Lou Wallgren.
She is survived by two daughters, Marcella Lou Norris of Shawnee; and Kandi Cumbie; son, Nathan Tate Jr. of Rosharon, Texas; brother, Robbie Joe Forshee of Broken Bow; and granddaughter, Shelby Lou Norris of Shawnee; and extended family and friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Kandi Cumbie officiating.
Burial will follow at Romulus Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
