DOROTHY NAOMI STEPHENS-HARRISON
1927 - 2016
Loving mother, Dorothy Naomi Sample Stephens-Harrison passed away October 25, 2016 in Prague. From a family of 12 children, she was born on March 25, 1927 in Rush Springs to John E. and Ruth Longacre Sample.Dorothy was widowed by her husbands, Doyle V. Harrison, Robert Stephens, and lastly, her husband of 14 years, Jack Harrison. They resided at their home in McLoud.She was also preceded in death by her son, Vernon G. Harrison of Davenport and grandson, Travis Wyatt.Survivors include her daughters, Peggy J. and her husband Lee Roy D. Bartosh of Prague, Linda S. and her husband Doug Willis of Pryor, daughter-in-law, Rita Harrison of Davenport, siblings, J. C. “Chick” Sample, Viola, Stella and Wanda. all of California, eight grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and a special nephew, Leroy Oliver and his wife Mary Jo of Prague who should be recognized for their loving support.A private interment was at the Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
