ELAINE IRENE SMITH
1949 - 2015


Elaine Irene Oswalt Smith, 65 year old resident of Shawnee, passed away May 28, 2015.
Born December 21, 1949 in Hutchison, Kansas, she was the daughter of Edward T. Oswalt and Lula Irene Groves Oswalt.
Elaine was a member of the Life Christian Church in Shawnee.
She enjoyed bowling, dancing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy Pontius.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Smith of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Keri McKinney of Yukon; Mike and Suzanne Smith of Stroud; Rick and Genia Smith of Kingfisher; one daughter, Melissa Utley of Yukon; one brother, Walter Oswalt of Glencoe; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13, at the Living Love Christian Center in Shawnee with Pastor Mark Guinn officiating.
