1931 - 1999
Tecumseh resident John D. Sehon died Monday in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was 68.Mr. Sehon was born October 10, 1931, in Tom, Oklahoma to Will Tom and Hattie Lee Sehon.He married Lillian Viola Bollman on August 12, 1955, in Oklahoma City.He moved to Eagle Town, Oklahoma at the age of 8 where he attended and graduated from school. He went to work at Tinker Air Force Base in 1951, was drafted into the United States Army and served in Korea, then returned to Tinker. He retired in December 1979.Survivors include his wife, Lillian of the home; three children and their spouses, Linda Gail and John Goodson, Earlsboro; Sandra Kaye and Dane Johnson, Shawnee; and Richard Bryan and Shay Lynn Sehon, Tecumseh; eight grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Goodson, Brad, Amber and Chelle Johnson, and Casey Jo, Chas and Cydney Sehon; two brothers, Ernest Sehon, Chickasha; and Jerry Paul Sehon, Tuttle; and two sisters, Virginia McClean and Ruth Carpenter, both of Oregon.He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
