ANNA J. SCHEIDT
1891 - 1999


Shawnee resident Anna J. Ebers Scheidt died Friday at her home. She was 108.
Mrs. Scheidt was born January 24, 1891, in St. Clement, Missouri to Fred and Rosie Lomsky Ebers.
She married John Scheidt on November 22, 1910, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Shawnee.
She moved to Oklahoma when she was ten years old and lived in the Shawnee area most of her life. She was a homemaker as well as a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and St. Benedict Altar Society.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosalie Dickinson, Shawnee; grandchildren and spouses, Michael and Laury Dickinson, Shawnee; Timmy and Joann Dickinson, Shawnee; Carl and Andrea Dickinson, Baltimore, Maryland; Mark and Rhonda Dickinson, Shawnee; Ann Dickinson and her son Andrew, Shawnee; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Scheidt; son, George Scheidt; grandson, John Dickinson; and great-grandsons, Danny Dickinson and John Dickinson Jr.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, with the Rev. Charles Massoth officiating.
The wake/rosary will 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.
