Macomb resident Carole J. Bowerman Pierce, 65, passed away Monday, December 17, in Macomb.She was born September 30, 1942, in Maud, to Lester "Red" Lee and Stella Mozelle Key Bowerman.She was raised in the Konawa/St. Louis area. She spent the majority of her life in the Romulus area and graduated from St. Louis.On November 11, 1961, she married Bennie William Pierce at Romulus Baptist Church.She was a homemaker and a member of Romulus Baptist Church.She loved to watch the deer and elk play.She collected spoons, glass knickknacks and loved Coca-Cola memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester "Red" and Mozelle Bowerman; a granddaughter, Peggy Copeland and her step-mother, Roxie Bowerman.Survivors include her husband, Bennie Pierce of Macomb; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Jerry Copeland of Denison, Texas, Melissa and Terry Trout of Shawnee and Cheryl and Mel Loyd of Macomb; son and daughter-in-law, John and Carolyn Pierce of Oklahoma City; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Johnny Lee of Macomb; sister-in-law, Ethyl Hurley; nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; special friends, Floretta Walgren and Bonnie Glover; as well as many more, too numerous to mention.Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Romulus Baptist Church with Darrell Witten and Mike Craig officiating.Burial will be at Romulus Cemetery, Romulus, Oklahoma.
