RUTH ANNE NULLAKE
1923 - 2009


Shawnee resident Ruth Anne Morris Nullake died Thursday, Septenber 3, 2009, in her residence at the age of 86.
She was born February 5, 1923, in Stroud to Thomas Morris Sr. and Bessie Grant Morris.
She was a member of the Sac and Fox Tribe and was Sr. Woman of the Year in 1985.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Nullake Sr.; three sisters, Celestia Morris, Mae Warrior and Caroline Kishketon; two grandchildren, Roy Lee Nullake and Henrietta Kauley.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Alexander of Meeker, Georgia Blanchard of Meeker and Ida Parish of Shawnee; one son, George Nullake Jr. of Shawnee; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one brother, Thomas Morris Jr. of Stroud.
Wake service will be held Sunday evening at 42600 Moccasin Trail.
Burial will be Monday at Wakolee Cemetery.
