MARGIE RUTH MASON
1924 - 2001
Margie Ruth Blood Mason, 76, Shawnee, died Thursday, April 12 in a local hospital.The daughter of Earl and Ollie Walker Blood was born September 27, 1924, in Rogers, Arkansas. She attended Shawnee schools.On June 26, 1944, she and George Stewart Mason II were married in Redfork, Oklahoma.Mrs. Mason, a homemaker, attended Bethel Temple. She had lived in Shawnee since 1935.Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, three sisters and four brothers.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, George Stewart Mason III and his wife, Paulette, of Shawnee; and Randall Stewart and Jackie Mason of McLoud; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Clyde Johnson of Broken Arrow; and Debra and Conrad Schulte of Northglen, Colorado; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, as well as four nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery.The Rev. Jim Rutters will officiate.Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
