TY LAWRENCE MARTIN
2012 - 2012

Ty Lawrence Martin, son of Karlea D. Martin of Del City and Brandon T. Jennings of Oklahoma City, was born July 18, 2012, at Baptist Hospital and went to be with God October 8, 2012.
Family members on his mother's side of the family include grandmother, Deedala' Dawna S. Martin-Harris of the home; several blood relatives residing in Shawnee, cousins and one aunt. His adopted by love family was "Daddy" Chad A. Anderson of Midwest City, aunt Christina Bundsen, aunt Kasee S. Arms and aunt Kaitlyn E. Giza and uncle Michael S. Terrell.
Family members on the father's side of the family include grandmother Nina A. Siddiqui, grandfather Gary Hoge, step-grandfather Abu Siddiqui; aunt Amanda J. Jennings, uncle Jared L. Jennings, aunt Whitney D. Green, uncle Darren G. Thomas, uncle Mathew "Shane" Thomas, and several cousins. His adopted family by love included Michael A. Wilson, aunt Melody Wilson, uncle Sky Shannon and uncle Billy Wilson.
Ty went to Quality Child Care Development Center in Oklahoma City since August 2012. He played with other children, was being taught developmental skills even at this early age. Ty's eyes lit up when he saw his mommy or heard her voice. Anyone could see the love radiate between the mother and son. He loved to spend time with "Daddy Chad" and lay on his chest to go to sleep at night and sat on his tummy and watch "man" television shows.
Ty would not have anything else to do with anyone when his "Daddy Chad" was heard or in the room. Ty just started cooing and grinning and finding his little fingers, it was obvious that he was going to be a thumb sucker. Ty spent time with his Deeda Monday and Wednesday evening with only them two as special time. Deeda picked him up from day care while Mommy went to college.
Ty was getting better acquainted with his natural father, Brandon. He would look at him and start to coo and smile. Brandon was with Ty as much as he could be with work and daily life duties often being obstacles, but life has a way of making time for important things. Brandon loved Ty with all his heart and often spoke of getting Ty a crotch-rocket motorcycle when he was older.
Brandon picked out toys and purchased Ty about 100 pairs of socks for Ty thinking a baby had to have warm feet. Brandon was with Ty when he was born and was taking tons of photographs and was the first to put Ty into the car to come home and carried him into his home.
Ty seemed to have the red-hair aspect like Brandon and shared the green-eye train like his Daddy. Brandon loved Ty with all his heart and even then some more! As for Ty, he was so loved. He had a closet full of clothing, he even had two more racks hung in the clothing hang out in what was known as the Ty room.
He had so many toys in his room that many toys for older children were stored out in the "Ty Room". When Ty would have been older he would have had anything from rattles, stuffed animals, to sand boxes, ATVs and tricycles. There was nothing Ty would have wanted that could not be found in either the Ty Room or in his bedroom, clothing or toys or otherwise.
We know that Ty Lawrence is with God and getting acquainted with his maternal grandfather Jeffrey Lawrence Harris and his grandmother Shirley R. Martin and grandfather Billy J. Martin, who were already with God and awaiting Ty's arrival to their arms.
Funeral services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee.
Graveside services will be at Hopewell Cemetery on Hardesty Road in Bethel. Time will be announced at a later date.
