MARTHA JUANITA MARTIN
1920 - 1997


Shawnee resident Martha Juanita Martin died Wednesday at her home at the age of 77.
Mrs. Martin was born September 12, 1920, in Romulus, to William Taylor and Rachel Derryberry.
She attended Tribbey Schools and was employed at Oklahoma Baptist University in housekeeping.
She married T. R. Martin on December 23, 1975, and was a member of the Central Church of Christ, VFW and the Ladies Auxiliary.
She had been a Shawnee resident for 35 years.
Survivors include three children, Francine Cash of Haskell; Rebecca Morrow of Tulsa; Kenneth Emmons of Tecumseh; two sisters, Rachel Naomi Richards of Shawnee; Alice Oleta Rice of Springfield, Missouri; a stepson, Bob Martin of Shawnee; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, Darrell Ray Todd, nine half brothers and sisters.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with Doyle Loveland officiating.
Burial will be at Tribbey Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
