DOROTHA FAY LOVELESS
1929 - 2013


Dorotha Fay Brogdon Loveless, age 83 of Purcell, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 24, 2013.
Dorotha was born December 25, 1929 in Independence County, Arkansas.
She was the youngest of five children born to Luther E. Brogdon and Ora Bell King Brogdon.
Dorotha grew up the Wanette and Asher area and attended Wanette Schools. She married the love of her life; a young man named Jeral Dean Loveless from Byars, Oklahoma, on December 26, 1944 in Stratford, Oklahoma. Together they had three children; a son, Jerry and daughters, Ann and Sandra.
She worked for years as a hair stylist. Jeral and Dorotha lived in various towns including Wanette, Asher, Byars, Wayne, Amarillo and McLean, Texas before settling in Purcell. She spent her time as a homemaker then and a landlord of several rental properties. Dorotha cherished her family, and looked forward to spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a strong woman of faith and a member of the Washington United Methodist Church.
Dorotha was preceded in death by her husband, Jeral Dean Loveless in January of 2011; her son, Jerry Loveless; infant daughter, Sandra Kay Loveless; her parents, Luther and Ora Bell Brogdon; two brothers, Onis and Wayman Brogdon and a sister, Emogene Ozella Kersey.
She leaves behind her daughter, Ann Idleman and husband Dennis of Healdton, Oklahoma; her sister, Marva Lee Mearl Gentry of Southlake, Texas; three grandchildren,John Idleman, Jeff Idleman and Julie Riner; nine great grandchildren, Jace, Jeston, Jorja, Madison, Elisabeth, Dee, Gus, JeriAnn and Jentri and Baby Idleman on the way; three nieces, Alma Hickman, Sue Vincent, and Helen Northcutt; one nephew, Jackie Gentry and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Wanette Cemetery.
Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home.
