LEON WELSEY KASKUSKE SR.
1933 - 2016
Leon Wesley Kaskuske Sr. was born May 11, 1933 in McLoud, Oklahoma to Walter and Myrna Kaskuske.He attended school in Dale, Oklahoma.He served in the United States Army where he played on the Army basketball team. He retired from Tinker after working there 33 years.He married Mary Dora Walker on May 11, 1976.He enjoyed golfing, crossword puzzles, O.U., OKC Thunder and watching his grandchildren play basketball.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Walter Kaskuske Jr. and Truman Kaskuske, sister, Vivian McElvany and step-son, Rex B. Harrison III.Leon is survived by his wife, Mary Dora Kaskuske of the home, two sons, Leon Kaskuske Jr. and Lawrence Kaskuske, step-daughter, Teri Harrison-Allen, brother, Stanley Kaskuske, sisters, Rebecca Nickell and Sue Johnson, grandsons, Christian A. Tiger, Colton B. Haney, Connor C Haney, Rex B. Harrison IV, Skylar R. Harrison and Vivanna Wilhelm, five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Maliha, Brynndly, Royal, and Ezavin and several other family members and friends.Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Kickapoo Friends Center in McLoud.Burial will follow at Kaskuske Family Cemetery.
