DARRELL RAYMOND JONES
1981 - 1999


Shawnee resident Darrell Raymond Jones, 18, died Tuesday at an Oklahoma City hospital.
He was born March 16, 1981, in Shawnee to Dennis D. and Karen A. Coley Jones.
He lived in Shawnee his entire life. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1999 and was accepted at Oklahoma State University.
He was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, Karen A. Jones, Shawnee; and Dennis D. and Lecia Jones, Shawnee; brother, Dennis D. Jones Jr., Shawnee; sisters, Misty Brown and Kelley Edmond, Shawnee; grandparents, Faye Coley, Rhetta and Al Smith, and Darrell and Mona Jones, all of Shawnee; several aunts and uncles; many cousins; a niece; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, William Coley.
Services will 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church with Father Maurus Jaeb, OSB, officiating.
The casket will remain open at the funeral home until 9:15 a.m. Friday and will not be opened for the services at the church.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Jimmy Everest Cancer Center at Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City or St. Benedict's Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 632 N. Kickapoo, Shawnee.
