Monica Elizabeth Hill, 31, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Oklahoma City.She was born August 22, 1984 and adopted by Michael and Karen Richman Colan in Phoenix, Arizona.Monica was raised in Arizona.She met the love of her life, Nathan Hill, and they were married on June 12, 2004 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.She earned her Associates Degree from Seminole State College and her Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Maryland.Monica loved her husband, children and family with all her heart.She was an avid health enthusiast, participating in several 5K races.Monica loved traveling, shopping and photography.She worked for the Lincoln County Department of Human Services as a Social Worker.She had a passion for protecting children, being their voice day or night. Monica was an advocate for ADHD, Epilepsy and Autism. She was instrumental in organizing fundraisers for A Service Dog for Brynlee.Her grandmother, Mary Seaton preceded her in death.Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Nathan Hill, their daughter, Emma Hill, and their son, Evan Hill; father and mother, Scott and Sandra Hill; eight sisters and eight brothers, Rachael {Jonathan} Whiteside, Sarah Bustamante, Josh Colan, Ariana Colan, Tammy Colan, Jonathan Colan, Alanna Colan, Michael {Sonia} Ward, D. J. Ward, Anthony Ward, Daniel {Kari} Hill, and Rebecca {Jimmy} Stokes; grandfather, L. J. “Dick” Seaton and dozens of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made in Monica’s honor be sent to: A Service Dog for Brynlee Hill, at First United Bank, or via the Facebook page of the same name.Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
