Kenneth Aubrey Hall, Jr., 73, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Tecumseh.He was born April 23, 1942 to Kenneth Aubrey and Alice Marie Alexander Hall in Oxnard, California.Kenneth moved around, but spent most of his in the Shawnee/Tecumseh area.He enlisted in the U.S. Army in Amarillo, Texas and proudly served his country during the Vietnam era until he was honorably discharged at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.Kenneth married Melba Ruth “Mickey” Anson on December 6, 1969 in Seminole, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2011.He worked for the City of Shawnee at the Water Treatment Plant for 23 years until his retirement.Kenneth was a member of VFW in Borger, Texas and the Tecumseh American Legion, Hill-Huett Post 260.He enjoyed farming, working outdoors, going fishing and he loved his dogs.He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Ruth “Mickey” Hall; father, Kenneth Hall and sister, Elsie Brownlee.Kenneth is survived by his loving daughter, Amy Lee Hall of Shawnee, Oklahoma; mother, Alice Marie Hunsaker of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; brother, Trally Hall of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; niece, Geneva and Harlen Hunt of Borger, Texas and their son, Henry Hunt; niece, Rebecca and Anthony Sitler of Newalla, Oklahoma and their children, Jason Reese, Tasha Reese, Jessica Gates and Brayden as well as other relatives and friends.Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Chaplain Darrell Witten with Heartland Hospice of Shawnee officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
