RICHARD GAISKI
1943 - 2008
Richard Gaiski, of Midwest City, was born October 27, 1943 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Virginia Wolfe Gaiski.He died in his home in Midwest City on August 17, 2008 at the age of 64 years.Richard had many loves and passions in his life. He loved and adored his wife of more than 35 years, Annabelle, or as he referred to her, "Annie". He loved to surprise her and take care of her.He loved his family: his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his great grandchildren.Richard had a passion for sports. If he was not active in sports, you would always find him around the activities, from coaching his sons in little league to umpiring at the local fields. He enjoyed baseball, basketball, and Nascar. He was a Boston Celtic fanatic.Richard also had a passion for people. This is what truly made him enjoy and love his job at Crest Foods. He could have a conversation with anyone.Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a son; a grandson, Austin Wright; several uncles; a brother-in-law; as well as his dog, Jasmine.He leaves behind his wife; two daughters, Susan Keough and husband David; and Patricia "Tootie" Wright and husband Scot; three sons, Patrick Sutton; Joe Gaiski and wife Autumn; and Steven Gaiski and wife Sumer.He is also survived by his grandchildren: Sheri, Krystal, and Misty Keough; Joshua, Natasha, and Jessica Sutton; Brady, Carson, and Justin Wright; and Madison and Bailey Gaiski; as well as one great grandchild; one expected great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and his dogs Maizy Mae and Tickles Mea.Services honoring the life of Richard Gaiski will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Candlewood Chapel under the direction of Ford Funeral Service.Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee.
