1932 - 2011
Novella L. "Donnie" Cordrey, 79, of Oklahoma City and formerly of Tecumseh, died Sunday, October 23, 2011, at her home.She was born September 16, 1932, in Tecumseh to Ralph L. and Pearl Mae Behrnes Guinn.She attended Ruggles Grade School and graduated from Tecumseh High School.She married Donald D. Cordrey on June 22, 1952, in TAFB Chapel.She lived in the Tecumseh/Shawnee area most of her life until moving to Oklahoma City in 1992.She was a homemaker and a member of the Southern Ridge Church of Christ in Oklahoma City.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.Survivors include two daughters, Mary Cordrey of Oklahoma City; and Terri and husband, Roger Scott, of Oklahoma City; grandchild, Chris Scott of Oklahoma City; sister, Sue Merritt of Shawnee; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Mr. Russ Byer officiating.Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.Walker Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
