FRED ALLEN BUSHYHEAD II
1971 - 2004


Shawnee resident Fred Allen Bushyhead II, 33, died Thursday, December 2, at his home.
He was born August 2, 1971, in Midwest City to Ina Rae McClellan and Fred Bushyhead.
He attended school in Shawnee and Manitou Springs, Colorado.
Mr. Bushyhead was an artist and champion Native American dancer. He was a member of the Sac and Fox, Cheyenne and Creek tribes. He also was a member of the Native American Church and American Indian Culture in Colorado schools.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Bushyhead; father, Fred Allen Bushyhead and grandparents, Hattie Pakoska, Ernest McClelland and Allen Bushyhead.
Survivors include one son, Fred Bushyhead of Woodland Park, Colorado; mother, Ina Rae McClelland; sisters, Ina Raye Bushyhead of the home, Carla Lynn Davids of Chicopee, Massachusetts; and Raylene Little Wolf of Minneapolis, Minnesota; brother, Ronald Davids of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandmother, Elsie Bushyhead of Shawnee; grandmother, Susie Salazar of McLoud; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Native American tribal rites will be 5:00 p.m. today at the Old Homeplace of Henrietta Walker.
Burial will follow Sunday morning at Wakolee Cemetery, Shawnee.
Walker Funeral Service is directing arrangements.
