LARRY WAYNE BROWN
1939 - 2006
Shawnee resident Larry Wayne Brown, 66, died Wednesday, June 7, at his home.Larry was born November 24, 1939, in Shawnee to Charles Masquat and Beulah Brown Williams.He married Joyce Miller of Perkins.Larry served in the U. S. Air Force.He loved to fish, visit and cook for family and friends.He gave his life to the Lord and "served one God" as he said to the end.His parents and a brother, George Masquat, preceded him in death.Survivors include four children, April Perez of Wichita, Kansas, Billy Freeman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Travis Brown of Lawrence, Kansas and Stewart Brown of Pueblo, Colorado; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, seven sisters, Elaine "Micki" Guitierrez of Wichita, Kansas, Charlene Atwell of Shawnee, Lula "Johnnie" Bettelyoun of Shawnee, Judy Wood of Shawnee, Matilda Thorpe of Shawnee, Georgia McGuire of Shawnee and Cheryl Masquat of Shawnee; several nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.Service will be 10:00 a.m. today at Kingdom Hall with Bob White officiating.Burial will follow at Wakolee Cemetery.Published June 10, 2006.
