DAVE BOSTICK
1914 - 1998
Macomb rancher and farmer Dave Bostick died Sunday in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was 84.Dave Bostick was born April 26, 1914, in Tribbey, to Jessie and Nora Coleman Bostick.He was reared in Tribbey, where he also attended school. He also lived in Texas and Colorado and had lived in Macomb since 1965.He married Alice Mae Peeler on March 14, 1942, in Lubbock, Texas.Bostick was a member of the Wanette First Baptist Church and was a rancher and farmer his entire life.Survivors include his wife, Alice Mae Bostick of the home; three daughters and a son-in-law, Janet Sue Taylor of Oklahoma City; Rosalea and Kenneth Griffith of Liberal, Kansas and Beverly Bostick of Seminole; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nell and Clyde Henry of Canyon, Texas, Ruby Friend of Seligman, Missouri and Jessica "Sis" and Weldon "Zeke" Wilmeth of Sun City West, Arizona; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, five sisters, two brothers and a grandson.Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Wanette First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Strahan and the Rev. Dale Durnell officiating.Burial will be at Tribbey Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh.Published May 12, 1998.
