1953 - 2010
Donald Gene Bell, 56 of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away May 6, 2010.He was born May 13, 1953 to Oval and Billie Bell in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Donald enjoyed fishing and collecting guns. He was also an ammo enthusiast and a jack of all trades but a master at none. Donald also enjoyed making wine and even won two awards a the State Fair.He loved spending time with his grandchildren.Donald is survived by his wife, Brenda Bell; two daughters, Renee Hodnett {Rat'na} and husband Donnie; Kathryn Richards {Monkeymae} and husband Ryan; five grandchildren, Damon Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Nicole Hodnett, Cody Hodnett and Railey Richards; one sister, Linda Crowder and husband Lew; two brothers, Randolph Bell and Howard Bell; mother, Billie Bell {Gaboo}; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members and friends.He is preceded in death by his father, Oval Howard Bell; two brothers, Wallace Ray Bell and Terry Bell.Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church, 36305 Lake Rd., Shawnee, Oklahoma.Interment to follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery, Bethel Acres, Oklahoma.Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
