AVA JANE AYERS
1944 - 2009


Bethany resident Ava Jane Ayers, 64, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008, in Oklahoma City.
She was born February 13, 1944 in Shawnee to Milton and Janetta Curtess Ayers.
She attended Bethel High School and worked as a quality control inspector. She lived in Shawnee, Bethel Acres and Bethany.
Ava enjoyed spending time with family, watching sports, and treasure hunting for a special "something". Her most valued treasure was God's gift of her granddaughter Jessica Jane.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Ayers.
Survivors include her daughter, Ramona Jacobi and husband, Roger of Piedmont; granddaughter, Jessica Jacobi of Piedmont; two brothers, Curtis Ayers and Lavon of Shawnee; and Dale Ayers and wife, Linda of Shawnee; two sisters, Diana Brakebill and husband, Mike of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Nancy Brown of Greensboro, North Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2008 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Mike Brakebill officiating.
Burial will be at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery.
