WILLIAM FRANKLIN ADAMS
1957 - 2000
William F. "Bush" Adams of Tecumseh died Saturday in Oklahoma City. He was 43.He was born April 1, 1957, in Shawnee and attended Shawnee schools.Mr. Adams was born and reared in Shawnee, and has lived in Tecumseh since 1984.On September 2, 1977, he married Janice Dodson in Shawnee.He had worked as a driver for Sullivan Wholesale, did paint and body work for Stewart Wholesale and currently was employed as a night supervisor for HGP Industries, Shawnee.He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel and Louella Megehee and two uncles, Bill and Doug Megehee.Survivors include his wife, Janice Adams of the home; three daughters, April Adams, Danielle Adams and Alyson Adams, all of the home; mother, Mary Shahan of Knox City, Texas; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Steven Ellis and Andrea and Artie Coffman, all of Knox City, Texas; and Betty and John Belshe, of Tecumseh; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Randy Adams of Shawnee; and Charlie and Sherry Clem of Cove, Arkansas; aunts, Juanita Megehee and Sue Seawright; special family members, Leroy Megehee, Jennifer Utter and sons, Gavin and Brytton and numerous friends and other family members.Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Neal Cemetery with the Rev. Clint Dawkins, pastor of Sharon Baptist Church, Charlie Clem and the Rev. Richard Gay officiating.Services are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.The family will gather to receive friends at 9:00 a.m. at Cooper Funeral Home.The family has designated the Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundations appropriate for memorials.Published May 16, 2000.
