Rickie Joe White, 63, of Macomb, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Oklahoma City.
He was born September 20, 1957 to Thomas and Emma (Bivings) White in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Rickie was raised in Idabel until his family moved to Earlsboro when he was in 7th grade. He graduated with the class of 1976 from Earlsboro High School. Rickie moved to Tecumseh where he made his home until moving to Macomb 6 years ago.
He married Betty Ann Arms on August 16, 1976 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
Rickie worked for the State of Oklahoma in Building Maintenance at the State Capitol until recently retiring. He also worked at Exxon Mobile, building homes and doing carpentry work in his earlier years.
Rickie enjoyed fishing, but his passion was mini stock car racing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. White; grandchildren, Jacob Anden White, Levi White and Kieran Neal.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty White of the home; 3 daughters, Emily and Claude Knight of Macomb, OK, Reba and Marty Holcomb of Macomb, OK and Katie White and Devon Neal of Shawnee, OK; 1 son, Chad and Michelle White of Bethel Acres, OK; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his mother, Emma Jean White of Bethel Acres, OK; 2 brothers, Len and Denise White of Bethel Acres, OK and Thomas and Cindy White of Shawnee, OK; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2021 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Butch Frances, Church of the Cross in Trousdale, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
