Evelyn Ione Ball, 96, of Shawnee passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born June 20, 1923 in Little Axe, OK to Ira and Maudie (Wilson) Butler.

She married Robert “Bill” Ball, and began her new life building her family. She had two sons and three daughters. She enjoyed fishing and traveling. She even was a hairdresser in Norman, OK for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill, her daughters, Teresa Mendal, and Pam Barnsdale her brothers Jess Butler and Robert Butler; and her sisters Frances Hill and Vergie Thompson. She is survived by her sons, Luverne and wife Ellen Ball and Charles and wife Vergie Ball; her daughter Joyce DeRosa; her brother Elze Butler; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A Graveside Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2020 at Mars Hill Cemetery in Macomb, OK.

Memorials may be made in memory of Evelyn to the charity of your choice in place of flowers.
