Roger Wayne Klaus, age 55, of Shawnee, OK passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Oklahoma City.
He was born September 29, 1963 in Prague, OK to Bob and Barbara (Adams) Klaus.
Roger was raised in Tecumseh and graduated with the Tecumseh High School class of 1981.
He was a regional supervisor for the WintCo Sonic Group for over 20 years and he had a great love for his WintCo family.
Roger enjoyed everything outdoors; from noodling for golf balls as an adolescent with his brother Robert, to golfing with his family and friends at Firelake. Roger also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Above everything else, his children and grandchildren brought him the most joy and were the focal point of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Klaus.
Those left to cherish his memory are his 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Chasse Klaus of Oklahoma City and Colton and Mallory Klaus of Springdale, Arkansas; 1 daughter, Cortnie Klaus of Bryant, Arkansas; his mother and spouse, Barbara and Zaragaza Sanchez of Choctaw; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Shara Klaus of Avinger, TX; 4 grandchildren, Lauren Dennis, Luke Dennis, Natalie Simic and Paisly Johnson; fiancé, Bonnie Simic of Shawnee and her children, Kyle Smith of Choctaw, Tia and Nick Potts of Choctaw, Chelsy and Paul Johnson of Yukon; nephews, Dillon Klaus and Tawnni Klaus; niece, Ashley Klaus; and many other loving extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018, with the family gathering to meet with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Adams and Jimmy Daigrepont officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
