Sean Michael Nichols Sean Michael Nichols was born on March 2, 1983, in Shawnee, and departed this life on Monday, October 2, 2017, in Choctaw, Oklahoma, at the age of 34.
Sean, the son of Michael “Mike” and Donna (McGinnis) Nichols, was a resident of Choctaw. He was a 2001 Prague High School graduate and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from OU in Mechanical Engineering among the top of his class. Sean married Sara Hessman on March 12, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Sean loved spending time with his wife and kids, traveling, was an avid college football fan, and was a gun enthusiast.
Sean was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sammie McGinnis, Herschel and Reba Nichols and his father, Mike Nichols.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Nichols of Prague; wife, Sara Nichols, of the home; daughter, Alivia Nichols, of the home; son, Evan Nichols, of the home; brother in law Jason and wife, Jennifer Hessman; sister-in-law, Tara Hessman; aunt, Nina Nichols; In-laws, Dwayne and Carol Hessman; grandmother, Betty McGinnis, and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Grove Cemetery.
