Joshua Lynn Lytle, 33, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 in Oklahoma City.
e was born on August 2, 1985 to Keith Lytle and Shirley Adamson in Madill, Oklahoma. Joshua grew up in Maud and attended Maud Public Schools.
Joshua proudly served his country in the Army Reserve in Iraq with the 910th Quarter Master Supply Unit and was honorably discharged. He worked in the Oilfield on offshore drilling rigs and was a truck driver.
Joshua was a member of the VFW Shawnee Post #1317. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4 wheelers, motorcycles and fast cars. He was kind hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand. Joshua loved his family very much, especially his children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Lytle; and grandfather, Frank Adamson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his 2 children, Patience Mae Lytle and Joshua Wyatt Lytle; mother, Shirley Adamson; stepfather, Robert Pawnee; sister, Sue and Ernest Brehm; brother, Robert Kerbo; grandmothers, LaWanda Adamson and Vera Lytle; aunt, Peggy Armstrong; uncles, Gerald Adamson, Gary Lytle and Scott Lytle; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; great-nephew; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018. Graveside Service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Tecumseh with Pastor Keith Ward, Taproot Church in Shawnee officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
